The 2012 C2C Ultramarathon and Team Relay is scheduled for Saturday, October 20th, and will begin at 7:00am in front of the Boone County Courthouse. Participants can register at http://www.runrace.net/ starting March 1st.
The 2011 C2C Ultramarathon and Team Relay was a huge success! We raised over $2,200 for the American Heart Association which was split between the Columbia and Jefferson City Chapters. Those to thank include the 71 runners, 11 sponsors, and countless volunteers. We hope to build on this momentum in 2012 and have chosen the Midwest Special Needs Trust FBO Max Lewis as the charitable focus.
This website should answer most questions regarding the C2C, but don't hesitate to call for clarification.
Thank you,

Friends of Max: 2011 is a year Max is very happy to bid adieu! With a broken arm and shoulder along with two long rehab stints at Rust post surgery, Max has had a lot of hurdles and healing in 2011. The good news? Max "popped the question" to Wanda Jesse on January 23rd, 2012, and is REALLY looking forward to many years ahead with her by his side! Max's friends are also excited about a few great events supporting Max's Midwest Special Needs Trust - the Sedalia Half-Marathon (March 31st) and the C2C Ultramarathon & Relay (October 20th). Let us know if you can volunteer for either event and/or support Max's trust monetarily through these fun events. Our goal is to knock out Max's student loan debt - a goal that is well within our reach with your continued support. Please contact any of Max's trustees with your questions (Darrin Young, nvng2002@yahoo.com, 573-999-3838; Eric Walker, 703-869-8505; Larry Robinson, ltrlurch@yahoo.com; Tom May, 573-819-1515; Dana Fritz, fritzd@health.missouri.edu, 573-864-6633). And, as always, checks can be sent directly to Max's trust (with his name in the memo line) to Midwest Special Needs Trust, 1500 Vandiver, Suite 100, Columbia, MO, 65202. Max would love to hear from you too! maxlewis@centurytel.net or 573-449-2847.
