C2C Ultramarathon and Team Relay

Finish Time: NLT 5:00 PM, Missouri State Capitol

Description: A 39.3 mile (63 Kilometers or a Marathon and a Half) point to point race, run almost entirely on the Katy and MKT Trail. The race can be run solo or as a team. Teams may consist of any number of runners and "tag” the next runner anywhere and any number of times along the course. There are essentially 9 legs, varying in length from 2.9 to 6.5 miles (see below).
C2C (Courthouse to Capitol) Course: The Ultramarathon and Relay will begin at the Boone County Courthouse located at 801 E. Walnut, Columbia, MO, 65201, and end at the Missouri State Capitol Building located at 201 West Capitol Avenue, Jefferson City, MO, 65101.

Leg 1: Courthouse to Scott Blvd, 5.3 miles
Leg 2: Scott Blvd to McBaine, 4.5 miles
Leg 3: McBaine to Providence, 4.2 miles
Leg 4: Providence to Easley, 2.9 miles
Leg 5: Easley to Wilton, 4.6 miles
Leg 6: Wilton to Hartsburg, 4.4 miles
Leg 7: Hartsburg to Claysville, 3.7 miles
Leg 8: Claysville to N. Jefferson Trailhead, 6.5 miles
Leg 9: N. Jefferson Trailhead to State Capitol, 3.2 miles
Total length of 39.3 miles is accurate. Leg distances are rounded to a tenth of a mile.

Aid Stations: Located at the end of each leg. Water, a sports drink, bananas, and cookies will be provided for Solo Runners. Our permits do not allow for tables to be used so quantities will be limited. Teams are asked to be self sufficient and to secure all trash.

Awards: Each Solo Runner and Team will receive an Award. There are three types:
1. “John Henry” Awards for the First Overall Male and First Overall Female, finisher.
2. “Katy Trail” Awards to the First Overall Team, First All-Female Team, First All-Military Team, First Husband-Wife Team, Most-Generous Donation Team (to the AHA), First Coed Team, First All-Masters Team.
3. “MKT” Awards for each Solo Runner and Team that finishes by the 5:00 PM deadline.

I will keep a list of all locations where flyers can be picked up. Then, mail the completed flyer and your check made out to C2C Ultra Marathon to: 3909 Gorham Oak Drive, Columbia, MO, 65203.
